How can I disable blue tick in WhatsApp  Android ?

1. Open WhatsApp and tap on the three vertical dots appear on the right top corner of the screen.
2. In the list of options, tap on Settings
3. Select Account - Privacy 
4. Scroll Down and you can find the option call read receipts with a check box
5. Disable the read reciepts check box.
6. Now , the other people will not see blue tick mark even if you read the message. But this is not applicable for group chat, voice notes.

To hide double tick in WhatsApp

There are two kinds of double tick appear near WhatsApp messages.

• The grey colored double tick which appears once the message is delivered to the opponent. This cannot be hidden.
• The blue colored double tick that appears to the reciever once you read his message. You can disable this in Whatsapp-Settings-Account-Privacy-Disable Read Reciepts .

2. If the option is enabled and still you can't view blueticks for some people, then it means that the other people have disabled read reciepts in their settings to have their privacy .

How to remove blue ticks from whatsapp iphone?

1. To remove Blueticks from WhatsApp iPhone, Go to WhatsApp settings - Account - Privacy
2. Now you can see a list of options.
3. Scroll down and look for option "Read Reciepts".
4. Disable the option .
5. Now Blueticks will be removed fpr your mesaages sent to other people . But this setting is not applicable for group chat.

How to enable blue tick in whatsapp

1. To enable blue tick in WhatsApp you have to switch on the check box for read receipts.

4. Hereafter you will see blue tick once the reciever reads your message. 
5. But if the reciever has disabled this option , you will not see blue tick mark even if the message is read.

• This means that person at other side has disable read reciepts in their app settings to ensure their privacy.

How to disable read receipt in Whatsapp?

To disable read receipt in WhatsApp Go to WhatsApp settings - Account - Privacy - Disable the check Box for Read Reciepts option. But still you will see/send read receipts for group chat messages.

Attach and send pdf file through whatsapp

To attach and send pdf file throgh whatsapp

Whatsapp recently implemented attach file option in its latest version.
Though the app allow us to browse the files, it will show only the audio, video and picture files to select as attachment.



So, right now it is not possible to attach and send the pdf files in whatsapp to send it through another whatsapp number.

The trick of renaming the pdf file into jpg extension will not work in whatsapp. Because the app will try to capture the thumbnail and if it couldn't , then it will show error that the file is not an image file. May be you can give a try.

So, the best way is to send it through email or through skype software , Because both gmail and skype supports attaching files other than media.


So, Right now it is not possible to send pdf file through whatsapp .

Whatsapp Voice calling feature started rolling on version 2.12.7

Whatsapp Voice calling feature  started rolling on.

First time Whatsapp showcased its call featured version for few hours.
But second time it lasted for more than a day. But again the latest version 2.12.7 is rolled back into 2.12.5 in Google play.



So, if you have to enable voice call feature you have to use the following procedure.

1.Go to aptoide.com . Aptoide is a famous play store similar to google play store.
2.Download and install Aptoide play store from the website.
3.Now search whatsapp inside the Aptoide play store
4.Here you will find the very latest version 2.12.7 of whatsapp browser. In Google play store you can find only 2.12.5
5.Well now install the latest version of whatsapp
6.Ask you friend who has already enabled voice call feature to give a whatsapp call to your number
7.It will automatically update and incorporate call features in your smartphone. If not restart your phone to enable call features

Note that whatsapp call feature is invite based and not automatic incorporation.

This article will explain how to change the notification alerts for whatsapp messages.
There are three types of notification alerts namely Message sound alert, Vibration alert, LED light notification.

For messages from Individual contacts :

• Go to Settings - notifications
• Now you can see a list of settings like following.
• Notification tone: in which you can choose your desired ringtone stored in your mobile phone storage or in memory card storage
• Vibration alert: in which you can set whether the vibration alert should be on or off for while receiving messages from individual contacts.
• Popup notification : If you don't want to receive a popup notification which is shown in the home screen, then you can customize using this setting.
• Light notification : If your smartphone has LED notification lights, you can customize the color of whats-app notification when you receive whats app messages.

Group messages notification:

• Notification tone in which you can choose your desired ringtome stored in your mobile phone storage or in memory card storage
• Vibration tone:  in which you can set whether the vibration alert should be on or off for while recieving messages from group messages
• Light notification:If you dont want to recieve a popup notification which is shown in the home screen, then you can customize using this setting.

Whatsapp : Hide Last seen | Double Blue tick | Disable Online Status | Block particular number | Send scheduled messages

Whatsapp android come PC application now allows their users to keep their privacy secretly by introducing two new options.

Now we can remove last seen time from Whatsapp so that other people including your friends cannot see the last seen time.

You can also remove double Blue tick symbol in messages from your friends so the read status of their message will not be known until you make a reply to him.

Apart from these two options you can also block a particular mobile number if you feel that you receive lot of nuisance and disturbance from that particular number.

Disable and Remove Last seen Message, hide delivery status and Double Blue Check Symbol:

1. Open Whatsapp and go to settings - Account - Privacy.
2. Here you can see a set of options.
3. Among these options, select Last seen and choose Nobody. It means that Nobody including your friends cannot see your online availability in Whatsapp.
4. They can't see Double Blue tick symbol even if you have seen his message. But they can see the delivered symbol that is grey color double tick.
5. If you choose contacts Only, then the people who are in your contact list can see your presence in Whatsapp.

The feature is made with some special condition , that is if you activate hide last seen option, then you cannot see your friends last seen time .

Block a particular Contact in Whatsapp:

If you do not want to receive message from a particular whatsapp number, then you can add them in the block list. The block list can be set in Settings - Account - Privacy -Messaging (Blocked Contacts)

Trick to see last seen of Your friends:

Even if you disabled last seen message, there is a trick to see your friends last seen timestamp. Yes, the trick is you have to temporarily enable last seen stamp and go your friends last seen message, then immediately come back to settings and disable last seen to Nobody.

This does not work if your friend also disabled last seen option.

To Hide , Disable Online status , send schedule whatsapp messages

Even if you set the last seen to Nobody, the online status will be shown. There is no option to hide or disable online status in whatsapp . But if you use Whatsapp plus , then you can get some additional options including hiding online status to be invisible, to send scheduled birthday wishes etc.

But whatspp official team do not encourage to use whatsapp plus because it may contain some bugs which causes privacy issue.

To Recall or delete Whatsapp sent message

There are two cases.

• If your message is already sent from your mobile phone ( If you see single tick or grey double tick or blue double tick) , then you cannot delete or recall the message.
• If your message is not yet sent to the whatsapp server ( If you see clock symbol near the message) , then you can immediately delete to the message to prevent sending to the recipient.
