Orange: To stop marketing sms , calls in Orange,EE mobile UK

Unwanted sales and marketing calls are always a concern in the telecom industry. The consumer has every right to stop such unsolicited calls and text messages.



If you are continuously receiving unwanted text sms related to marketing offers, then you can forward the text to 7726

If you are continuously receiving silent calls (ie. You pick up a call and hear nothing but silence in other end). then you can call 0300 123 33 to register a complaint.

If you are continuously receiving unwanted sales, marketing calls then you can register a complaint by sending an sms CALL <phone number that you receiving marketing calls> to  7726

If you want to stop completely the marketing calls from any other numbers, then you can register with Telephone Preference Service (TPS) list. It will take effect from 28 days, once you have registered this free service to stop from unwanted sales calls.

PUK Code Unlock | O2 | EE | Orange | Vodafone | Reset SIM card PIN number UK

O2, Orange, Vodafone, EE, T-mobile are the leading mobile network providers in UK.
In common every mobile networks provide the SIM cards equipped with a PIN code and PUK code by default for security reasons.



After three incorrect attempts of PIN code , the SIM card will be locked and you need to enter PUK code for unlock the SIM and reset the PIN number.
Don't assume PUK code or Believe any other online PUK code generator . If you enter wrong PUK code for 10 times, then the SIM will be blocked permanently and you have to buy new SIM card.

If you have welcome mail which you received at the time of buying new SIM card, then you can see the PUK code information from the mail itself.
Otherwise, you can try any one of the mentioned method in this page, applicable for your network.

Orange | EE : PUK code unlock

If you enter the PIN code wrongly for three times, your phone or SIM will be locked and ask for a PUK code.

Entering PUK code wrongly for ten times will result in permanent block of the SIM.

So , you should stop assuming your PUK code.

Follow the Procedure to unlock the SIM using PUK code retrieval.

1.Go to Official my account page of EE , Orange mobile .

2.Sign up for my account using your basic information.

3.Login using the credentials.

4.In the home page, click Device and Usage tab.

5.Inside Device and controls option, Now you can see an option called unblock your SIM.

6.Enter the PUK code shown on the screen , in your mobile phone and unlock the phone.

7.The phone will ask you to reset your PIN with new PIN number.


If you don't have online retrieval option , then you have to call the customer service corresponding to the following region in which you belong to .
Dominican Republic , Guadeloupe, Martinique and French Guiana
United Kingdom

The customer care person will ask for some basic details to confirm your identity and provide the PUK code for your SIM card.
You can then unlock your SIM card using the steps 6 and 7 explained as above
